Urban Circus is all about bringing the pieces together into a clear plan. But a new type of plan.

Complex, multi-modal, inter-disciplinary, multiple interfacing and multiple stakeholder projects and scenarios are now path of the course. Mono-dimensional planning methods are too slow, too blunt and opaque to meet our demand for a better future. They are failing to create complex, pluralist, high value places – like, for example, London's Oxford Circus.

Urban Circus was formed by an urbanist, and a juggler, to leverage modern tools to bring the plan to life early and get the concept right. Conventional urban planning has failed us – it is demoted to 'land use planning,' with its blob zones and wordy reports.

The New Planning dares to create clear visions for all to walk inside. It builds the plan in real 3d space – before or during design and engineering. It applies brutal transparency and integrates the siloed professions from day 1. It brings projects to market quickly with sophisticated outcomes that add multiple values.

We all know good when we see it. So the New Planning simply makes 'it' truly visible – and does it early. Concepts become smarter, more subtle, more integrated and more intelligent. Decisions become easy. People collaborate better. Time gets compressed. Risks get reduced. Money gets saved.
